TikTok user Tysons_tail recently shared a Genshin Impact clip that went viral showing off a comparison between the in-game Shiba Inu and their pet Shiba. In the Genshin Impact portion of the video, Tysons_tail stands next to a black and white Shiba Inu that’s wearing a straw farmer’s hat and red boots. The dog begins to wander around Tysons_tail’s character to unveil a hidden sword in its curled tail, causing the TikTok user to speculate if it’s realistic for a Shiba to carry a sword in such a way.

Wanting to see if their pet Shiba Inu could carry a sword similar to the Genshin Impact dog, Tysons_tail inserted a soft and assuredly safe foam sword in the curl of their Shiba’s tail. Just like the dog in the miHoYo RPG, Tysons_tail’s Shiba Inu effectively carried the foam sword as steadily as the in-game dog. While the dog was able to keep the sword steady in a stationary position, Tysons_tail’s Shiba Inu also confirmed that it could walk around whilst holding the foam sword just as the Genshin Impact dog wanders around carrying the metal blade.
Like past Genshin Impact events allow players to keep new items, characters, etc. the new one allows players to keep the Warrior Dog known as Kageroumaru after freeing the pup and showing it strength through battle. Other Shiba Inus encountered during the Warrior Dog quest confirm various aspects about their past, including rigorous training regiments and contracts made with ninjas. In order for Genshin Impact players to keep Kageroumaru for their housing, they’ll have to defeat the dog in combat in a small room.
Shiba Inus were added to Genshin Impact with version 1.0 of the client, while the Warrior Dog event was added to Genshin Impact in a recent update. The Warrior Dog event allows players to make their Genshin Impact house more like a home by adding Kageroumaru as a pet after rescuing the powerful dog. In order to defeat the dog, Genshin Impact fans must have a part level of around 90 and they will have to dodge flurries of sword slashes, spinning swords that the dog unleashes as it teleports around the room and an aerial assault in which the Warrior Dog strikes straight downward.
Genshin Impact is available right now for mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5 with a Switch version also in development.
