Genshin Impact is an immense open-world action RPG and one of miHoYo’s most popular games to date. In the ever-expanding world of Genshin Impact, a compelling story, evolving set of challenges, and tons of empowering loot await. For example, hundreds of chests are scattered throughout the world with Primogems, a free summoning material, and in-game money called Mora. Rare chests also reward powerful artifacts and materials to level up characters to their full potential. With items such as Primogems, Genshin Impact players may summon powerful characters and weapons from event wishes.

Periodically, miHoYo awards promo codes to redeem in Genshin Impact for rewards such as Primogems, Mora, and materials. The company released a new promo code, which the Genshin Impact community proceeded to distribute across TikTok, Reddit, and other social media platforms. The new promo code awards players with 60 Primogems and 5 Adventurer’s Experience materials if redeemed by July 15. Although the promo code’s rewards are meager, these Primogems may be saved for event wishes once a sufficient amount is met.
A single event wish in Genshin Impact costs 160 Primogems and awards the summoner with a single weapon or character of varying rarity. With 1,600 Primogems, the summoner may pull ten rewards at once. Like most gacha games, summoning multiple low-rarity items increases the chance of obtaining a weapon or character with 4-star rarity or higher. This practice is commonly referred to as a pity system, allowing players to obtain a rare reward once a certain summoning threshold is met.
Promo codes are an easy way to reward the active Genshin Impact community present across social media. In addition, miHoYo awards a large amount of Primogems regularly through new events, log-in bonuses, and maintenance compensation to all players. In general, those who continue to follow all happenings in Genshin Impact are rewarded for their time and effort.
However, it would also be easy for miHoYo to award a greater amount of Primogems with these promo codes. 60 Primogems alone is not enough for a single event wish summon. Fortunately, there are plenty of avenues to earn free Primogems in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact is available now on mobile, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. A Switch version is currently in development with no confirmed release date.
