Labyrinth Warriors offers players a very atmospheric dungeon crawl, a treasure trove of interesting lore to uncover, and the chance to see the friendly but cold-blooded Eleventh Harbinger, Childe, meet up and interact with Liyue’s only rock musician, Xinyan, for the very first time. The event has been described as unmissable, so it may not be a surprise to hear that some players want to make sure nobody misses it.

Redditor eltartass raised the subject in a post simply titled “Please make the labyrinth permanent endgame content,” which contains a list of all the reasons the Labyrinth should stick around, beginning with the simple fact that infinite dungeon generation with increasing difficulty sounds like something a lot of players would enjoy having around. This isn’t the first Genshin Impact event minigame that players have fallen in love with, but Labyrinth Warriors might mesh well enough with the game’s overall tone and mechanics to keep on a permanent basis.

The poster also mentioned a number of changes that could improve the Labyrinth, including a first team and backup team strategy, no time limit, and the ability to choose a path from room to room, possibly with attached buffs. They also requested a form of internal currency, meaningful rewards for both casual and hardcore Genshin Impact players, and finally the ability to introduce artifact stat re-rolling items in their own shop. Eltartass concluded their argument by stating that the overall goal of a permanent Labyrinth could simply be for players to delve as deep into the dungeon as they can.

As of writing, it appears that many other fans agree that Labyrinth Warriors would be a welcome permanent addition to Genshin Impact, particularly since it bears some similarities to Honkai Impact 3rd’s permanent game mode Elysian Realm. Elysian Realm also made its debut as a time-limited event, which gives some fans hope that Labyrinth Warriors is also a first outing for a permanent feature. One user notes that many events have contained interesting minigames with the potential to become endgame content, though they have since been removed from Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact is available on mobile devices, PC, PS4, and PS5.
