Genshin Impact’s Bennett is the only remaining member of his famous adventure team, as his teammates always leave him for this magnetism towards bad luck. Unfortunately for them, he still remains quite the asset for any party.

The game’s calendar follows the real-life Gregorian calendar, meaning that it’s fairly easy to follow any Genshin Impact character’s birthday and how old they are. But it has become a tradition for one question to arise at this time of year - how old is Bennett? All that is known for now is that he was born on a leap day. An interesting discussion on the official Genshin Impact subreddit gathered a lot of attention as Reddit user rzdel tried to tackle this issue. The first theory revealed he’s most likely 18 at this point in time, but after the comment section jumped in, the Reddit thread was edited with the final conclusion that he can be of any age.
Fans enjoy the fact that Hoyoverse decided to give Bennett this birthday since it fits his characterm which revolves around having extraordinarily bad luck. However, despite the excruciating stretches of bad luck he encounters, he is full of passion for adventuring. Unlike Bennett, players who have spent their Primogems to acquire on a limited banner have certainly struck gold considering that he’s widely considered to be one of the strongest supports in Genshin Impact.
Bennett was probably the best four-star character overall for a very long time thanks to his stacked and flexible kit. He’s still the go-to support for most team compositions that require a strong healer or damage buffer. He shines most when his build emphasizes buffing his allies for extra damage. Bennett’s ideal support build should revolve around Energy recharge and HP.
Another one of his strengths is that he can create a lot of energy and elemental particles which allow players to refill their elemental burst faster. His Elemental Skill (Passion Overload) can create a decent amount of particles, and it has a low cooldown. This is especially useful for Genshin Impact characters that have energy which includes some recent roster additions. He is probably one of the best “battery characters” in the game alongside the popular Genshin Impact character Raiden Shogun who’s still considered the savior of Energy-dependent teams.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
