Genshin Impact’s storyline has confirmed that Celestia is the residence of Teyvat’s Gods as well as mortals who become worthy enough to ascend to godhood. Many players expect Celestia to be one of the last regions to arrive to the game, and it could include the mysterious God known as the “sustainer of heavenly principles” who appears in the first cutscene.

Reddit user Marco-Kun_GLM has shared an interesting location from where players can take the perfect picture that shows Celestia in front of the moon. This unique spot is located on the road northeast of the Starsnatch Cliff. Many fans seem to like the trick as the whole thread reached over 2k upvotes on the official Genshin Impact subreddit. Another Redditor named PaganW has pointed out that in order to take this screenshot, players should set their in-game timer to 4:30am which was later confirmed by Marco-Kun_GLM. Celestia looks much more realistic compared to a couple of months ago as HoYoverse updated the transparent 2D image into a 3D model.

When it comes to Celestia’s exact position on the map, there is still no official information. However, some players have figured out its approximate placement by using simple geometry. While observing its position in the sky from different locations, many players came to the conclusion that Celestia is located not too far away from the western part of Liyue. Recent Genshin Impact leaks have been hinting that a new region named Fontaine is also placed in the same location.

This means that the floating island could be placed directly above the new Fontaine region which is expected to be the next major region to arrive to the game. Fontaine is confirmed to be the home of the Hydro Archon Focalors, whose design has already been leaked a couple of days ago.

Some fans have pointed out that an artifact piece named Symbol of Felicitation mentioned another Liyue port besides Liyue Harbor which could hint at a new Genshin Impact expansion for the Geo nation. Even though HoYoverse introduced a 3D model for Celestia, it probably serves just as a placeholder and the floating island will probably look much different once it becomes explorable.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
