However, some of the locations that players stumble upon are not even designed to be explored. An interesting video on Genshin Impact’s official subreddit has revealed how to access a new location in Chasm.

Redditor Sentratix has shared that in order to access this place under Chasm, players first need to travel to the lower part of the region, also known as the Underground Mines, and go to the Ad-Hoc Main Tunnel subregion. Under the bridge that is located west of this subregion’s Teleport Waypoint lies a small opening that grants access to the terrain that is under the whole Chasm model. This is not the first time that Genshin Impact players managed to find such a vast location under one of the game’s terrain models, and these locations are known in the community as the Void.
In order to get to this location, players will probably need to use characters that have a smaller model, like Qiqi or Klee. The fans claim that this is not the only entry point to the Void as there are apparently numerous ways to access it. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that there is also a way to climb on the rocks that are floating above the whole region, however, it’s way trickier since it requires a certain set of Genshin Impact characters that can manipulate the exploring process like Venti and Albedo with their elemental skills.
Chasm has been a part of the game since the arrival of Genshin Impact Version 2.6. The region is located west of Liyue, and it’s the primary source of ores for the whole region. In order to unlock the underground map of Chasm, Genshin Impact players need to finish the Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering world quest. Players also need to raise their account at least to Adventure Rank 28.
However, despite being one of the greatest map extensions that arrived in one update, it seems as though a new major region is just around the corner. Each Genshin Impact major update brings a new nation to the game, and with the whole Inazuma arc coming to an end, players might get the option to explore another of Teyvat’s main regions. Even though there is still no official information, multiple leaks and rumors have been hinting that this new nation is Sumeru, the home of the Dendro element.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
