Genshin Impact’s Sumeru region has added two new types of landscapes to the game. After the rainforest that was added in update 3.0, the game introduced Teyvat’s first deserts in the current version 3.1.

Reddit user Longjumping-Pipe481 has shared a set of interesting screenshots revealing the perfect location for explosion pictures in Sumeru. The explosions are caused by one of the giant Ruin Golems located at the Valley of Dahri in Sumeru. Despite being ancient, these machines are still operational, and they will shoot projectiles at players that approach them. The Redditor decided to use these attacks to his advantage by standing just outside the range of its attacks which results in interesting screenshots that have background explosions. There is another Ruin Golem located around Deventaka Mountain in the forest part of Sumeru and a third one has been mentioned in the story, but its location is still unknown. A couple of players in the comment section said that they did not know that the Ruin Golems have limited range, and they will definitely try to make a couple of screenshots in their next playing session. Fans have been overall happy with the whole Sumeru region which took Genshin Impact’s exploration experience to the next level. Small details like the one shown in the post give the impression that the whole region is alive.

Unlike most of the three previous nations, Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma, the NPCs in the new Sumeru seem much more realistic as they can be seen engaged in various activities, such as reading, fishing, or playing music. Some replies said that picking Klee for the pictures was the perfect choice since her whole character revolves around explosions and causing all kinds of trouble. Even though she is one of the oldest characters in the game who can’t compare with other meta characters, Klee still remains a fan-favorite for a big part of the community, probably because she is one of the first five-star characters to arrive.

The third location of the third Ruin Golem will probably be revealed in one of the upcoming Genshin Impact updates which, according to recent rumors, will introduce the third part of Sumeru. According to credible leakers, Sumeru’s third map expansion will apparently bring another desert that could be similar to the one that arrived in the current update.

Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Nintendo Switch version also in development.
