Update 2.3 has been the first one to introduce the double banner mechanic meaning that players will have the chance to opt for two banners at the same time. This is probably miHoYo’s way of compensating for the absence of a brand new five-star character in a banner cycle. Version 2.4 is about to pass and players are already preparing materials resources for the brand-new character Yae Miko, who will arrive as the first limited five-star character on the upcoming update.

Klee was first released during Genshin Impact’s Version 1.0 lifespan. After appearing in the game’s closed beta session in early 2020, Klee’s banner, Sparkling Steps, was the second dedicated banner after Venti. As an earlier five-star release, many players may have missed out on obtaining Klee the first time around so miHoYo decided to give Klee her first Genshin Impact banner re-run in last year’s Midsummer Island Adventure event. She proved to be a formidable five-star character, as well as the only current five-star to hold both a Pyro Vision and a catalyst as her weapon of choice. A recent leak by a credible Genshin Impact leaker named Ubatcha1 has revealed that two of the oldest characters in the game, Klee and Venti, might receive another banner re-run.

Klee’s playstyle is certainly unique, but players might have to decide whether to spend their Primogems on her or save them for another upcoming five-star character. Being a Pyro Catalyst, Klee won’t hesitate to get up close and personal to enemies just to devastate them with barrage after barrage of attacks. Klee players know just how destructive her attacks can get, especially if she’s surrounded with the right Genshin Impact party. With a team that can aid her in positioning and support, Klee can effectively obliterate foes who try to get close to her.

In terms of versatility in team composition, Venti has the upper edge given his crowd control capabilities and exploration potential. Despite being one of the first limited five-star characters to be released, Venti still remains one of the strongest guys on the battlefield. He has the ability to combine different elemental reactions, shred elemental resistances, and recharge his own elemental burst, which makes him a perfect pick for the infamous Spiral Abyss which keeps getting harder.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
