Prominent Genshin Impact leaker Ubatcha1 revealed that HoYoVerse is planning to add a Dendro Hypostasis world boss to the game with the release of Version 3.2. The new Hypostasis would be the seventh of the cube-shaped bosses added to the game to go alongside Genshin Impact’s newest element. Genshin Impact launched with three of the Hypostases located throughout Mondstadt and Liyue, with later updates adding the Cryo Hypostasis in Dragonspine and the Pyro and Hydro Hypostases within Inazuma.

Ubatcha1 also followed up the leaked world boss by hinting at a character who will use its materials. Ubatcha claimed fans could “figure out” which character makes use of the boss’s materials, likely hinting at the Dendro Archon supposedly planned for Version 3.2. The Dendro Hypostasis will be the second Dendro element-focused boss added to the game after the introduction of Sumeru. Version 3.0 saw the addition of the Jadeplume Terrorshroom as the game’s first boss revolving around the new element, with Pyro and Electro attacks causing different effects to the beast.
The Dendro Hypostasis comes as the most recent in a plethora of leaks related to upcoming content from Sumeru. Ubatcha1 previously shared plenty of details about the rumored TCG mode coming to Genshin Impact, sharing the mechanics of the game frequently referenced by NPCs. Leaks have also suggested long-awaited characters like Scaramouche and Baizhu may be releasing in the near future. Genshin Impact has regularly seen plenty of content leaked from the game’s closed beta tests throughout its nearly two-year history.
With Genshin Impact seeing plenty of leaks, fans won’t have to wait long for their next helping of official news about the game. HoYoVerse recently revealed the date and time for Genshin Impact’s Version 3.1 Special Program with the broadcast set for Friday at 8:00 AM ET. The presentation is set to introduce players to Sumeru’s expansive desert region, as well as show off the game’s newest characters in Cyno, Nilou, and Candace. Fans will have plenty to look forward to from HoYoVerse as Genshin Impact nears its two-year anniversary later this month.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
