A recent video posted to the Genshin Impact leaks subreddit shows off the interior of Dottore’s factory with the Fatui’s “Doctor” playing a major role in the Sumeru region’s story. The interior of the factory features a style similar to several other Fatui-focused domains, with steampunk technology and pipelines running throughout. The video shows leaker Plusle descending along the rock walls of the cave-side factory, giving a closer look at the new location’s architecture.

The video does not confirm whether Dottore’s factory will be a new permanent area added to the game or one of Genshin Impact’s domains. Genshin Impact has frequently featured story-specific domains for major moments within the game’s Archon Quest, with some becoming unavailable after the story’s completion. Several users within the post’s comments also speculated that the leak may be a domain, given the planned introduction of the Fatui’s Scaramouche as a new weekly boss in Version 3.2.
The addition of Dottore’s factory in Version 3.2 comes after Versions 3.0 and 3.1 have brought several major updates to Genshin Impact. Version 3.0 saw Genshin Impact introduce the game’s fourth major region of Sumeru, with the region’s desert half coming later in Version 3.1. Sumeru’s addition brought with it the game’s long-awaited seventh element in Dendro alongside several new characters taking advantage of the element. Genshin Impact also introduced several smaller quality-of-life updates with Version 3.0, expanding the pool of Artifacts players can re-roll and fixing bugs with several characters’ unique movements.
Dottore’s factory will likely play a major role in Version 3.2’s story with another member of the Fatui planned to appear in the update. Genshin Impact leaks have already shown off several details related to the upcoming Scaramouche boss, with the Harbinger making a return appearance after featuring prominently in Inazuma’s story. Further leaks have suggested that Scaramouche will finally become a playable character later this year, after being rumored since Genshin Impact’s Version 1.1. The addition of Dottore’s factory and the Scaramouche boss will see Sumeru’s story hit its climax in Genshin Impact’s Version 3.2
