Going by Genshin Impact’s usual update schedule, 3.3 should arrive in the first half of December. Wanderer has been one of the main topics in the ongoing Sumeru arc as the recent livestream event confirmed that players will have the option to fight him in the upcoming update.

A new post on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has given more information about Wanderer’s whole kit. According to the leak, his Elemental Skill is called Hanega: Fushi Kakka and it allows him to enter a hovering state named Windfavored with increased Normal and Charged Attack AoE and damage. According to the leak, the Fushi Kakka interacts differently when exposed to four different Genshin Impact elements: Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, and Electro. While in this state, Wanderer will apparently consume Sky-Dweller Points which is apparently another type of stamina that allows him to keep moving around.
Wanderer’s Elemental Burst is called Kyougen: Shikiraku Gobandate and it will apparently allow him to shoot multiple Anemo-infused attacks that deal AoE damage. Activating the Elemental Burst will end the hovering state of his Elemental Skill. His first passive talent will grant various buffs which depend on the type of element it encounters. The second passive talent is also tied to his Elemental Skill, and it can be triggered by attacking enemies while Wanderer is in the Windfavored state. Wanderer will gain an effect named Descent that allows him to fire four wind arrows after he uses his sprint.
The fact that his kit has different interactions with other elements led many players to believe that he could be a very flexible character that fits multiple Genshin Impact team compositions. Going by all the leaked information, it’s safe to assume that Wanderer will be a new DPS character. All of his constellation levels impact his overall damage output and while Wanderer seems like a great character at C0, players should try to acquire as many constellations as possible if they want the highest damage numbers.
Players seem excited about this new character who’s expected to bring a completely new type of playstyle to the game. It should be noted that these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt considering that HoYoverse could make some small adjustments in the upcoming 3.3 beta phase.
Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
