A recent update from prominent Genshin Impact leaker SpendYourPrimos has given early information about Kaveh, revealing both his element and weapon of choice. Kaveh is set to be introduced to the game as a Dendro claymore user, the first claymore user to be featured with Genshin Impact’s newest element. No information was given about Kaveh’s rarity at the time. Speculation from Genshin Impact leakers has placed his tentative release window alongside the rumored Baizhu in Version 3.6, however, no tangible leaks exist to back up the claim yet.
Kaveh’s introduction as a claymore-wielding Dendro user would serve as the final weapon in Genshin Impact to receive a Dendro representative. The addition of the element in Version 3.0 came with two bow users in Tighnari and Collei while Version 3.2 would later add Genshin Impact’s first Dendro catalyst user in Nahida. The upcoming Version 3.4 update is set to introduce two new Dendro characters when it launches next month, the sword-wielding Al Haitham and the polearm-wielding Yaoyao. Current leaks have also suggested one more planned Dendro user in Baizhu to be added in the near future.
Kaveh’s most recent leaks join a plethora of other characters rumored to be added during coming Genshin Impact updates. Alongside the previously mentioned Al Haitham and Yaoyao, Dehya has seen several leaks suggesting she may be added in Version 3.5 as a Pyro claymore character. Several new characters from Genshin Imapct’s past regions have also seen rumors including Mondstadt’s Mika and Liyue’s Baizhu. Genshin Impact’s roster is set to grow substantially throughout the next few updates with several new characters planned.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
