Genshin Impact offers a large and diverse world, from the high mountains of Liyue and Inazuma to the plains of Mondstadt. It seems like miHoYo will hand out some additional exploration rewards besides the usual chests.

Finding chests in Genshin Impact is one of the most exciting things in the world of Teyvat. Opening those chests usually rewards players with valuable items such as Primogems. Currently, there are only four types of chests: Common, Exquisite, Precious, and Luxurious. However, it seems as though miHoYo will introduce one more type in the upcoming updates. According to multiple credible Genshin Impact leakers, players will be able to find new “Junk chests.” There will apparently be at least 82 of these chests and each of them will grant 10 to 15K of Mora.

The leaks claim that this type of chest will be only obtainable in the region Enkanomiya which is yet to arrive to the live servers. Even though there is a lot of expectations and hype surrounding the official announcement of Shenhe and Yun Jin, the addition of a new region surely stole the show. Enkanomiya will apparently be a vertical map similar to Dragonspine which has multiple layers of explorable terrain. A recent map leak has revealed that there is not much distance between Enkanomiya’s teleport waypoints which is usually the case for vertical parts of Teyvat.

The same leaker has previously revealed that Enkanomiya could work similarly to the limited Goldern Apple Archipelago region which was part of the 1.6 update. This region introduced a fresh new experience that brought back one of the game’s main draws, which is exploration. Running around, finding secrets and exploring the story behind the islands was some of the most enjoyable content players have experienced in the game so far. This region introduced the game’s first costumes as well as the first Klee banner re-run.

Developer miHoYo could decide to make Enkanomiya limited only for Genshin Impact update 2.4, though that hasn’t been confirmed at the time of this writing. Making this region exclusive to one update will certainly attract more attention from players who wouldn’t want to miss out on the exploring, but could result in some backlash as well. In any case, Genshin Impact fans will have to stay tuned for more concrete details.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.

Yae Miko has become a fan-favorite character since her appearance in two Genshin Impact update previews. She is apparently an Electro Vision holder who is expected to officially join the playable roster in update 2.5.

Interesting info about Yae Miko has come up over the last couple of months. One of the most credible Genshin Impact leakers Tangzhu has apparently revealed some additional information about Yae Miko. One of the main things the leaker points out is that Yae Miko does not use the usual DPS artifact set system which has a focus on Attack, Elemental Damage, and Critical rate/damage. The same leaker was the first one to accurately predict the arrival of the new region Enkanomiya, so the information is worth taking into consideration.

Yae Miko is already rumored to be one of the strongest DPS characters in Genshin Impact, on par with Ganyu and Ayaka. These rumors should be taken with a grain of salt since Tangzhu revealed that her stats are not ready yet. When it comes to her weapon type, there is currently no official information or credible leaks. However, the design of the character heavily indicates that her Element will be Electro, which is no surprise since she’s heavily tied to the Inazuma region.

When it comes to her boss materials, the leak confirms that she will be using talent ascensions dropped by La Signora. The same leaker also claims that Yae Miko could be paired with another popular character, the long-awaited Kamisato Ayato. His fans have been excited over the past couple of days as the new Arataki Itto teaser video included a couple of Ayato’s voice lines. This is usually the way miHoYo announces that a new character will become playable in the foreseeable future.

Genshin impact Version 2.5 should arrive around February 16, 2022, at least according to miHoYo’s usual update schedule. Yae Miko is expected to arrive alongside another double banner re-run which is slowly becoming a pattern since rumors have suggested that Ganyu and Xiao will get their own double re-run.

Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, and a Nintendo Switch version in development.
