Genshin Impact allows players to try out new characters for free by offering test runs that take place in a special domain in which they are required to fight against a group of enemies. A new post on the game’s official subreddit has revealed an interesting glitch featuring one of the new characters, Tighnari.

Reddit user Shushyy posted a video showing the new Dendro bow user flying mid-air in his test run domain. The video was well-received in the game’s community as the post reached over 8k upvotes. A couple of replies in the comment section claim that they have had similar experiences after entering Tighnari’s Test Run. A couple of fans have pointed out that the Shushyy did an excellent job cutting the video right before Tighnari was about the hit by the enemy. Tighnari is currently available as part of the ongoing double banner in which he is featured alongside another popular five-star character, the Geo user Zhongli.

Genshin Impact’s community had mixed responses when developer HoYoverse announced that Tighnari will be joining the Standard Banner after update 3.0 ends. While some fans appreciate the decision to expand the Standard Banner character pool, others claim that this change will lower the chance of leveling Tighnari’s constellations in the future as it’s highly unlikely that he’ll be featured on a Limited Character Banner anytime soon.

This means that players who want to get the popular Forest Watcher to C6 should try to do it as soon as possible considering that his banner ends on September 9. Tighnari is a strong Dendro DPS character whose playstyle revolves around using the unique mechanic on his Charged Attack. His damage potential relies heavily on the new elemental reaction named Quicken as well as its sub-reaction, Spread.

In order to trigger these elemental reactions, players need to combine the Dendro and Electro elements. Even though he seems like a decent DPS choice in Genshin Impact, Tighnari does not have a lot to offer once he leaves the field. Other Dendro characters like Collei or the new version of the Travaler seem to have much better Dendro applications even when swapped out.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
