The Wanderer is Scaramouche’s new alias after leaving his Fatui Harbinger ambitions behind in Genshin Impact version 3.3. However, he maintains some of the attributes that made him feared as the Scaramouche including his potent elemental prowess. After obtaining his Anemo vision, the Wanderer lends his support to the Traveler and vows to have revenge on the people who wronged him such as The Doctor and the Fatui. When summoned by Genshin Impact players, the Wanderer dons his new blue attire to reflect his change in outlook for the world, and some interesting details about his outfit have garnered the close attention of players.

Reddit user u/ssssss2s2 took a closer look at the Wanderer’s outfit, making a funny discovery about his hat after activating one of his elemental abilities. When a player activates Wanderer’s Hanega: Song of the Wind skill, Scaramouche’s hat disappears and reappears as a large Anemo symbol behind his head. At first glance, the symbol may appear foreign to some players, but the symbol actually matches the design of the hat that Scaramouche and Wanderer may be seen wearing in Genshin Impact. The symbol became much more obvious to players in the Genshin Impact Reddit community after u/ssssss2s2’s post.

Wanderer may hover in the air after entering the Windfavored state, which is activated shortly after using Hanega: Song of the Wind. When Wanderer hovers forward, the large hat symbol divides into two smaller symbols to denote his movement in midair. When the Anemo symbol disappears, Wanderer’s hat returns and the character exits the Windfavored state. The hat is a key component of Wanderer’s overall design, completing his Inazuma mountain attire.

Since Genshin Impact’s element-based combat can be quite frantic, some players may have not noticed the intricacies of Wanderer’s Anemo symbol after using his skill. The Reddit post by u/ssssss2s2 points out the symbol in a rather obvious manner while promoting a good laugh for those who didn’t notice the hat-like design earlier.

Alhaitham and Yaoyao will make their anticipated debut in Genshin Impact version 3.4, which is expected to launch in early 2023. The new update includes an expansion of the Sumeru desert region, new domains, and more limited-time events.

Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
