Dvalin is probably the most iconic boss in the game and players meet him a couple of minutes after starting their Genshin Impact journey. The dragon’s popularity is so high that fans often try to replicate its appearance in real life.

Dvalin is an Anemo elemental dragon who was grievously injured during the battle against the corrupted black dragon Durin which took place five hundred years before Genshin Impact’s timeline. During these years Abyss managed to take control of Dvalin and turn him against Mondstadt and this friend, the Anemo Archon Barbatos’. However, the Traveler along with Venti, Diluc and Jean managed to restore the dragon’s sanity which was the main event of update 1.0.

The Anemo Archon Barbatos, better known as Venti in his human form, has been officially announced for to the upcoming update. Genshin Impact update 2.6 has confirmed the arrival of a brand-new character, Kamisato Ayato, as well as two banner re-runs featuring Venti and Ayaka. Despite being the first limited five-star character, Venti has stood the test of time and he is still considered to be one of, if not the strongest Genshin Impact support at the moment.

Fans were expecting both Ayaka and Ayato to arrive at the same update considering that they are siblings. Ayato’s specific role in a party is yet to be confirmed, but he is expected to be an offensive character. Players usually tend to avoid using two DPS characters in the game, however there is a chance that Ayato could be placed in a sub-DPS position while Ayaka takes the role of the main damage dealer.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
