Developer HoYoverse has already confirmed that Kokomi and Ganyu will serve as the two five-star banner characters in the second part of the update. The only new Genshin Impact character will be Dori who is confirmed to be a part of the four-star squad.

Genshin Impact has officially revealed a character Demo for the new Electro user named Dori who is a popular merchant for Sumeru and always seems to have the right product for her customers, from exotic herbs to powerful weapons. In Dori’s world, everything revolves around gathering as much Mora as possible, even if it puts the Sumeru’s Academya in danger. Although she is best known for her salesperson skills, Dori should not be underestimated on the battlefield. She will be a new Genshin Impact support who specializes in healing and creating Energy particles.

Her elemental skill is called Spirit-Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon and allows her to fire off Troubleshooter Shots at enemies dealing Electro damage. If the shots hit an opponent, they will create two additional After-Sales Service Rounds that will track nearby enemies and deal more Electro damage. This skill has a 9-second cooldown, and it will be mainly used for Energy particle generation.

Dori’s elemental burst called Alcazarzaray’s Exactitude is probably the main part of her kit, which allows her to summon the Jinni within the lamp to assist the player on the battlefield. After being summoned, the Jinni will connect to a nearby target and continuously restore HP based on Dori’s maximum HP while also granting additional Energy as well as afflict the target with Electro damage. Even if another character takes the field, the Jinni will remain active and provide various of the previously mentioned buffs.

When it comes to Dori’s build, just like most healers in the game, players will need to build as much HP as possible in order to maximize her healing potential. Dori might be the perfect support for another upcoming character named Cyno who is scheduled for the next update. Cyno will be a “selfish DPS” character who could benefit from Dori’s ability to restore energy even when she’s not on the field.

Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
