The last two floors are by far the hardest, which means that players usually have to deploy their strongest Genshin Impact team compositions. Travelers are also required to clear up the domain within a certain timeframe in order to collect precious rewards that include Primogems.

Reddit user DarkOne21 has shared an interesting chart that shows the fastest clears for the 12th floor of the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact version 3.3. According to the post, a player named MnBN managed to finish the domain in under two minutes which is by far the best result as it beats the second place by around 7 seconds. For the first half of the floor, MnBN used the Freeze team composition which includes Ayaka, Kokomi, Shenhe, and Kazuha. This type of party relies on triggering Frozen by combining Cryo and Hydro, and it immobilizes enemies for a short period. Frozen does not deal any extra damage, but it has the strongest Crowd Control effect in the game which allows players to reposition if needed.

Even though Kazuha cannot trigger this reaction on his own, his job is to spread his teammates’ elemental damage all over the field. Sangonomiya Kokomi is a crucial part of this team comp, despite being considered one of the most underwhelming five-star Inazuma characters at the time of her release. Her ability to constantly apply Hydro makes her a must-have for the Freeze team composition.

The party that was used for the second phase of floor 12 consists of Yae Miko and three Archons: Nahida, Raiden Shogun, and Venti. Combining Nahida’s Dendro with Yae’s and Raiden’s Electro can trigger Quicken which is one of the new elemental reactions that arrived with update 3.0.

Raiden Shogun is probably used as the main DPS character in this team composition, and she is currently available as part of the limited double banner alongside Kamisato Ayato. She has great synergy with the Sumeru Archon Nahida whose main job is to apply as much Dendro as possible.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
