Genshin Impacts’s double banner mechanic allows players to choose between two five-star characters within the same banner cycle while sharing the same 90-wish pity. Both banners have the same four-star lineup which includes three characters that have been part of the roster since the game arrived.

A new post by Reddit user TimocaSamJa shows how well the current double banner did in terms of sales after its first week. According to the chart, Nahida and Yoimiya still hold the first spot on the list which does not come as a huge surprise considering that the Dendro Archon has been one of the most popular characters in the game. The banner reportedly made $27,227,621 in its first week should be noted that the data shown in the chart represents only iOS devices on the Chinese servers which means that the overall numbers are even bigger.

Even though the banner shows the combined sales for the banner, previous data has confirmed that Nahida is responsible for around 95% of the sales. While Yoimiya is a great choice for players who need a strong Pyro DPS, she can hardly keep up with the power of a Genshin Impact Archon. Some fans even think that Nahida is the strongest out of the four currently playable Archons despite relying heavily on triggering various elemental reactions.

The fact that she is the only five-star Dendro support makes her a crucial part of every team composition that revolves around triggering one of the new Dendro elemental reactions. She also has great synergy with the new Hydro user named Nilou who arrived in the second banner of the previous update. Their team comp is focused on triggering Bloom by combining Hydro and Dendro which will drop Dendro Cores that explode after a short period of time.

Players who want to add Nahida to their roster should also try to get her signature catalyst named A Thousand Floating Dreams which is one of the two five-star items on the new weapon banner. The weapon has a great balance between Elemental Mastery, Dendro damage, and Critical stats, which is perfect for Nahida’s playstyle.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
